Shrek the Musical is a stage adaptation of the 2001 DreamWorks film, following a gruff ogre named Shrek who, to reclaim his swamp, embarks on a quest to rescue Princess Fiona for the vertically challenged Lord Farquaad. Along with his sidekick Donkey, he learns to embrace his uniqueness, finding love, friendship, and self-acceptance.
