Join SALOS
SALOS is a great community to be a part of, either on stage or behind the scenes. If you're interested in joining, here's what you need to know.

We're a friendly, welcoming group of people who share a love of musical theatre. You don't need to be a professional — our membership includes people of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels. Whether you want to perform on the Wyvern stage, work backstage, or help front of house, there's a place for you at SALOS.
Auditions & membership
You don't need to be a soloist or a trained dancer to join us. However, you do need to be able to sing in tune and learn simple movements to be part of our chorus ensemble.
For that reason, we ask you to attend an informal audition and sing a song of your choice from a musical. If you'd like more details, email us with your application form attached.
Rehearsals
We meet at 7:30pm until 10:00pm on Tuesday evenings at Lawn Manor Academy, Falmouth Grove entrance, SN3 1EL.
There are additional rehearsals for principals which can sometimes take place on Sundays, and some Monday evening rehearsals as we approach the show.
Tea, coffee and squash are sold during the break — usually around 8:45pm.
What we ask of you
Your commitment to the production is vital — we'll send you more info on this once you get in touch. But most of all, we hope that you'll enjoy your time at SALOS!
Prefer to help offstage?
We're always looking for people to help backstage with our performances. There are lots of different jobs — from stage crew and wardrobe to making the tea and follow spotting. No experience is necessary, and we also welcome front of house helpers during performance weeks.
