My Fair Lady follows Eliza Doolittle, a Cockney flower seller whose life changes when phonetics professor Henry Higgins makes a wager that he can transform her into a refined lady of high society simply by teaching her to speak properly. As Eliza adapts to a new world, both she and Higgins are challenged by questions of identity, class, and independence in this witty and much-loved musical.
