The Sound of Music is a musical based on Maria von Trapp’s memoir, focusing on an exuberant postulant sent to govern seven children of a strict widowed Captain in 1938 Austria. She brings music and joy back to the home, falls in love with the Captain, and helps the family escape the Nazi occupation.
